Brandon and Angela's wedding was the most unique, personalized wedding I've ever been to! You can tell they spent time pouring their heart and soul into the details of the day to make it their very own. They incorporated traditions from both sides of their family origins and things that they both love - from Harry Potter to Star Wars and all things "nerd" in between! (They are self-proclaimed nerds so I'm allowed to say that.) ;)
The wedding ceremony took place in Midtown Park in Uptown Charlotte, NC and the reception took place at Bonterra Dining & Wine Room. Brandon is a low-key (or not so low-key) chef so the reception food was important to them. And Bonterra did not disappoint!
As you scroll through the pictures below you'll see the Harry Potter themed cords they used for Handfasting, the "Breaking of the Glass" at the end of the ceremony (like in Jewish weddings), and oathing stones - all of which they incorporated into their wedding to make it personal to them!
The reception was full of surprises from delicious food, the groom break dancing, and the cake cutting someone resulting in cake down Angela's dress.
