Spencer & Hannah have fantastic luck (depending on how you look at it). On their engagement session day it was cloudy and overcast, but it didn't rain. On Hannah's bridal portrait day, it rained - but we made it work. On their wedding day, there was a 95% chance of rain. BUT the only time it rained was during the girls' pictures and as they rode the trolley to the wedding! When we got to the church, the sun came out and it was beautiful!!
Hannah told me "I'm getting married on a balcony. If Kate Middleton can do it, so can I!" And I LOVED that. Hannah grew up in the church she got married at and had always told her parents one day she'd get married up on the balcony, and they 110% pulled it off! It was such a unique way to get married - not to mention the church looks a bit like a castle.
The reception was just as cool - it was at the Salisbury Historic Train Depot in Salisbury, NC. The inside had the coolest vibe from the floor to the ceiling and it made the perfect, intimate setting for a reception. One of my favorite parts of this wedding was that the wedding party rode a trolley to get where they needed to be - which I hadn't photographed before so it was fun to add trolley pictures to my portfolio. ;)
Spencer, Hannah - your day was as amazing and sweet as you guys are!
